i also had a great two days with the s-c children, who i utterly adore. monday we went to 'monkey joes' which is this crazy place, where kids go jump around on these massive inflatables. think chuck e cheese, but with bouncy things. here are some pics of the kids:
emily is also a huuuuuge high school musical fan, and sang a karaoke version of a song on their wii. check out the cute video below:
on tuesday, i took them to get ice cream after lunch, but we didn't realize it was so cold out! when we got to "brusters" it was so chilly, that we asked the crew at starbucks next door if we could sit in their space and eat our ice cream. of course, they were nice, and let us sit there. one woman was leaving and said to william "my, that sundae looks so yummy!" (it was the one with the big green dino on it) and he looked at her and said very matter of factly, "well, you should go next door and get one, they're still open!" haha.
my sister thinks i'm crazy for being my age and still babysitting, but tell ya the truth, it doesn't feel like babysitting. the hours fly by. i just love spending time with them!!

This post made me smile...I am sitting here (at midnight) in my little cabin the woods. Emily is sleeping in Kate's old room down stairs, Andrew in the guest room across the hall. William is sleeping in the king size bed, behind the desk where I sit typing on my computer. The house is strangely quiet with only the sound of classical music playing softly in the darkness. It has been a wonderful day with "our" three playmates. We hiked, played in the creek, made a movie built a camp fire and roasted hotdogs, among many other things today. You know I have made a hundred pictures!
I am so glad you enjoy A, E and W like I do. :)
