i'm icky sick. have had this cold on and off for quite some time, and it is back in full action. i can't wait until i can breathe through my nose again. misery!! i went to quickcare today at CVS, which i actually love, because they can prescribe meds and such, and it is walk-in, so you don't have to worry about being squeezed in by your doctor. so....i go, tell her my symptoms, and like i thought, there's nothing she can do for me. BUT, she did tell me i was taking the wrong drugs...tylenol cold and mucinex. she recommended i switch to benydryl, lay off the tylenol, and use this thing called a neti pot. has ANYONE used this thing before? it looks scary, but she swears it will work. i'll have to let you know.

i watched a how to video on youtube. it looks weird. but hey, i'm desperate at this point. also, did you know that they make puffs kleenex with vicks vapor goodness built right in? crazy.
not a very exciting blog. basically me bitching that i'm sick. work trip to south beach was nice. was able to have dinner with my friend sara from college, which was great. it was like NO time had passed. i loved that.

Love the neti pot! Didn't I show you when we were in Fla? Make sure you do your breathing exercises afterwards so you don't leave any water in there and get an infection.
I've seen on Oprah where the Netipot does work. It clear out the sinus area in your head, and travels through the other nose. There is no pain, but tickles. I have not used it because I don't have bad sinus troubles, but those who do have sinus problems said that it works wonders.
